The SPHL has signed a five figure, two year sponsorship deal with SPORTSassist, the brand new sports funding organisation.
SPORTSassist will be the official sponsors of the League for the duration of the contract, with the tournament known as ‘SPORTSassist Scottish Premier Hockey League’.

The head coach of Dundee Texol Stars, Roger Hunt, has asserted that initiatives such as the SPORTSassist-funded Scottish Premier Hockey League (SPHL) will represent a significant change for the better in the fortunes of the game.
SPORTSassist is a division of Caesar and Howie, the Central Scotland Law Group, and is made up of a select team of professional business providers who are passionate about sport and are keen to support amateur sports clubs financially.
